Recreation of a photograph by Oscar Marzaroli of three boys in high heels, taken in the Gorbals in 1963.The sculptures are cast in bronze and chrome.

As with all of our public commissions we like there to be an association with the area where they are to be placed. This iconic photograph is instantly recognisable to older residents in the Gorbals and the fact that the sculptures are of young boys brings in the younger generation.

The statues have yet to be sited but they will be placed on Cumberland Street in the heart of the Gorbals. To see the other statues and the original photograph on which they were based have a look in the gallery.
